When Wilbur and Orville Wright finished the first successful manned flight on Dec. 17, 1903, they amazed and astonished the world.  They also demonstrated the power of their problem solving method.

They not only solved a problem that others had found too complex and technical, but they did it without any help from outsiders.  These brothers had little formal training or education, but they had amazing brainpower. Few accomplishments can match what these two former bicycle mechanics did with that flying machine.

The key principles of problem solving used by the Wright brothers are still relevant for entrepreneurs today.  There are only eight of them, and here they are:

Ø      CONSTRUCTIVE CONFLICT: This conflict can be used to discover and validate new ideas/strategies to find a practical answer.

Ø      TACKLE WORST THINGS FIRST:  When big problems are put first, the cost for the whole is limited to this set should a solution prove unachievable.

Ø      JUST PLAIN TINKERING: tinkering with parts of a problem when you’re trying to understand it can create new approaches.

Ø      RIGID FLEXIBILITY:  Flexing the mind allows for thinking of possibilities outside the realm of policy, tradition, or experience.

Ø      FOREVER LEARNING: Learning as a lifelong passion is essential for finding the information to solve problems.

Ø      METHODICAL METICULOUSNESS: The fastest, most efficient way to solve a problem is by being meticulous and methodical in your approach.

Ø      EQUITABLE TEAMWORK:  The force of a group with a common purpose is multi-plied by interdependence and powered by trust, effort, profits, power, and honour.

A side benefit to these steps is that there is an added financial bonus.  By using these principles, the Wright brothers minimized their costs to less than $1,000 and solved the problem of flight with mind-boggling speed.  What business owner wouldn’t want to solve a problem in his business and cut cost at the same time?

Learn how to think like an entrepreneur and become one.

We are conditioned from early stages in life in believing that the best way to be successful is to get a good college education in order to find a secure job in a big corporation. Yet many who follow this path, end up working harder and harder all their lives only to make someone else rich.

They become trapped in the rat race and slave to their boss, their job and their big company. The one thing we are not told is what kind of education we should go for to become successful. The key to success is to get yourself the kind of education that allows you to work smarter not harder.

There are many educational and information products to help you build a successful business that can replace your day job and bring you income that can support a comfortable lifestyle.

With the growth and expansion of the Internet, it is possible to make a decent living on line. Information products are really in demand these days and yes it’s true that there are lots of people selling information products on the Internet at the moment, but Internet is so huge that there is room for every one and if you are offering quality products, there is no reason why you should not be successful. People are hungry for information and these days many look to the Internet to find the information they are after.

Give people what they want and they keep coming back for more! One of the great ways to start your Internet marketing business is to join affiliate pogroms, which means you don’t have to have your own products, you just promote other people’s products and get paid every time someone buys their stuff. Here’s an idea

The idea of working until your last breath is not very inspiring is it?  Not even when we start on that exciting roller coaster ride known as “entrepreneurship.”  But if you aren’t already planning a more graceful exit from the rat race, you may come out on the short end of the stick.

With the failing economy, and global meltdown of financial institutions, who knows what’s in store for the ordinary people in ordinary jobs!  No matter how loyal you have been to your boss, no matter how hard you work to keep your job, if the company you work for gets into trouble, you will suffer the consequence.

And we’ve all seen it happen.  From big banks, to manufacturing firms, to successful TV or holiday companies, they’ve all gone down.  And the result?  hundreds if not thousands of workers are now without a job and without a future.

There has never been a better time to start your own business than now.

If you’ve been working in the same job for a long time, it may be a little daunting to retrain and learn new skills not to mention the time it takes to retrain and the cost involved.

But starting your own Internet business, scary as it may seem at first, is really a no brainer!  You only need to re-acquaint yourself with some skills you probably already have and pluck up some courage and determination.  It pays to invest in yourself and learn from those who’ve been there and done it and start with a solid foundation to build on.

You start small, with very little money, and you will learn as you go along without having to re mortgage your house!

Many people have done it and they are probably no cleverer than you!

You need to learn how to think like an entrepreneur and become one.   Just learning that and knowing a few facts about starting your own business will pave the way for you to stand up and take that first all important step towards financial freedom and towards realising your dreams.

And of course with your own Internet business, you can live the life you always wanted.   You are your own boss, you answer to no one, and you can do what you like with your business, with your life and with your money.  And eventually you can sell your business for huge profits.

It’s true that when you start a business you’re usually so busy with the details involved in making it an eventual success that selling out is the furthest thing from your mind.  But the day you start building should be the day you also start designing your exit.  It should be the ultimate goal of your success.

Don’t let any negative thought put you off. You can start your own little business while you are still working your nine to five! But it’s now time to wake up and go for gold that’s what you deserve.

Regardless of what  anyone believe or say, there are always those people who see only the “down” side of every situation. They constantly complain about the rain, and completely miss the rainbow that follows with the sun.

Being an entrepreneur, starting your own business is not for the faint-hearted!  If you don’t go into it with your eyes wide open, expecting some bumps along the road, then don’t leave your comfort zone, that salaried job with its Perks.  I’ve heard so many people say, “I can’t leave my job now – I need the benefits.  They completely forget the benefits of having a dream, and working hard to make it a reality.

There’s been much “hype” and “blather” that if you want to start your own business and you’re a woman, you are “Shoo-in” for loans etc.  Don’t you believe it!  A bank, is a bank and everybody seeking a loan must answer the bank’s 3 most burning questions.

1- How much of your own money are you investing in yourself?

2- What are your assets?

3- How do you plan on repaying the loan?

If you can’t satisfy the banker, then it doesn’t much matter whether you’re woman, minority, or vegetable! the loan won’t be forthcoming.  But don’t even think about getting a loan unless you can really afford it.

The thing is that you don’t really need a loan to start an internet business.  You can actually do it with very little money.

Now I said all that to say, don’t let that derail your dream.  Just keep on keeping on, and you’ll find out how it can be done.

There are a lot of people out there ready and waiting to rain on your parade – don’t give them the chance.  Let them rain all they want, you just keep on marching toward your goal.  You write that business plan, your goals for the first year – and the second- and the third.  If you can get over these first bumps in the road, then you’re on your way, as Dorothy said “Down the yellow brick road”.

It seems that I’ve heard more “You can’t” than “Go ahead – give it a try” lately, and I just can’t understand why so many people are so anxious to shoot you down than help you along.

I’m here to tell you that if you have an entrepreneurial dream there are only two questions you have to ask yourself.  They are:

1- If I try it and fail, what’s the worst that can happen?

2- Is that really any worse than if I don’t try at all?

A step by step course on becoming a successful entrepreneur

How many times have you heard that phrase, pitch, advertisement, or whatever? Lots, I’m sure. It is used so much because marketers know that staying home and making money is the fondest dream of millions of people.

And why not?

Did you know that the majority of fatal heart attacks happen at 9 a.m. Monday morning? It’s true. It seems a lot of people would rather die than get back to the old grind after a weekend of freedom.

So when someone offers an opportunity or plan for you to take your job and shove it, yet still make enough money to live and pay all your bills, it sounds blissfully irresistible.

Of course, bliss and reality are always two different things.

Is it really possible to run a business from your own home that is more than a hobby or source of part-time income? Can you get rich working out of your own home? Can you really trade your cubical and necktie for blue jeans and the comfort of your own den?

Well, for your information, home-based businesses are one of the fastest growing kinds of enterprises in the world today. As I am writing this, millions of Americans are doing at least some form of work out of their homes, and the numbers are rising rapidly.

According to the U.S. Department of Labour, as many as 70 million people were working out of their homes by the year 2005. Government studies have indicated that as much as 75% of all work done could eventually be moved home.

The overwhelming majority of home workers, however, are not exactly getting rich. The average work-at-home American earns less than $15,000 per year.

That may not be bad as a supplement to a spouse’s full-time income, but let’s face it, fifteen grand is not much better than poverty.
As master marketer and author Dr. Jeffrey Lant said: “Frankly, I never saw any benefit to staying home and being poor.”

Lant, without so much as a business card, became a work at home  millionaire, and is a perfect example of what truly can be achieved if you are serious about chucking your day job, staying home, and not settling for peanuts in exchange for your freedom. You can have it all — you can stay home and make as much – and more – money than your current job provides you.

If you really want to know the ins and outs of becoming an entrepreneur, you need solid basis on which to build. You need determination and you need to develop the entrepreneurial attitude.

You can learn all that with the audio course I have produced to teach you all you need to know to become a successful entrepreneur.Click here to find out more

It takes a certain mind-set and audacity for anyone to start their own business and succeed, but it’s even more difficult for a female entrepreneur.

It wasn’t until the 1970s that the first generation of women really started to enter the workforce and they weren’t exactly welcomed in the ranks of management.

Well my female comrades, those days are gone!

Let’s face it, We’ve always had to be twice-as-smart and twice-as-confident as any male counterpart to do well in the male dominated world.

But by God we’ve managed it and I can write a long list of successful women to prove it.  Be it in the world of sports, in science and technology and in the male chauvinistic corporate world too.

After all, if we can bear and raise the future generation, how can running a successful business scare us?

I am not talking about corporate business here or getting a job in a company run someone else who’s only aim is to slave you to the nine to five or whatever hour they choose for you and then pay you peanuts for your efforts, discriminate against you because you are a woman and pay you less than the male worker who does the same job as you do and perhaps not perform as well as you.

I am talking about your own business that you can run from home.  A business where you are the mistress and commander, where you don’t have to put up with bosses who would try to make you feel inferior because of your gender.

Forget what you’ve been told until now, by your mum, friends and family or anyone else you’ve been listening to. You don’t need a college degree to be able to become a successful business woman,

All you need is to learn to draw on a set of skills to get you to the top and help you stay there.

Because Today you can run your own successful business from home with very little initial outlay.

You are the 21st century business woman who needs to be able to build a vision based on the awareness of universal change.

You do have the ability to home in on opportunities that others may simply not see, and then outclass everyone else in that unexplored terrain.

And vision is not some exclusively male superior epitome, but an accessible notion that is easy to understand and will make your business grow to another level.

The strong managers/owners today not only anticipate change, they create entirely new businesses that respond to modifications and search for originality.

Learn the skills,  start on the right foot and you are only limited by your own imagination.

We all know what it’s like to be working for other people and we’ve all been there and done that in some way or another.  In fact majority of people think this is the only way they can make a living.

What kind of living is that?  You are working long hours, you are bossed around by some twit who has no idea of how you feel and doesn’t even care to find out, someone who is only interested in his own well-being and only after filling up his own pocket.

Of course there are exceptions to that rule, some bosses are reasonable and do take care of their staff.  Some companies do actually care about the well being of their work force and do provide them with some fringe benefits.  Even then I think you are not really getting paid enough for the amount of effort you put in.

But the common pattern is, when you work for someone else, that you are expected to work hard, long hours, be commanded by your boss and be as obedient as a slave. In return you get to live just above the bread line and if you’re lucky, you might get a pension after forty years of hard labour!

Surprisingly, most people just carry on their lives, working for unreasonable bosses and put in all their energy and effort in to making someone else rich.  They are tied to their desk from dawn to dusk, under pressure to take on massive workload and meet tight deadlines and for what?  Peanuts!

Companies are in business to make money for themselves not to make YOU rich.  You are just a tool and they use you to make huge amounts of money for themselves.

And what happens when the company you are working for is in financial trouble?  You get sacked!

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to take control of your own life and be in business for yourself?  Wouldn’t it be just great to be able to work when you want, have enough money to do whatever you want with and take holidays whenever and wherever you desire?

How would you like to be your own boss?  How would you like to have total control over what you do with your life, how would you like to be the one who determines how much work you put in an what you do with the profits?

Well, it’s not as difficult as you may think.  It may take a little hard work to start with but you will see the fruit of your labour sooner that you think and you can have your cake and eat it all if you so desire, without having to answer to anyone else for your actions.

All you need to start is the right mindset, common sense, some  courage and a lot of determination.

You need to break away from a life of drudgery, distant yourself from self-doubt, and convince yourself that you are able to do whatever it is that you want to do and achieve.

To be honest, it costs much less than you think to start your own business.  I am talking about an internet business, where you don’t need premises, stock and staff.  You don’t need to buy a license, or a franchise, which can cost a bomb, you don’t need to borrow start up money or anything like that.  You can start it on a shoestring budget and get rewarded handsomely in a very short time.

And that’s when I decided to create a product to help your achieve you goals and realise your dreams.  It’s a set of three audio CDs that I recorded to reveal to you all the shortcomings and advantages that the internet represents to people who are willing to learn, improve and accomplish.  Here’s a teaser:
