We made the transition swiftly and with a big bang what with all the firework displays around the world.

The main point is that the world is still here! The sky didn’t fall down, the earth didn’t explode! And everything else seems to be in the same order. Or are they?

The simple answer is: it depends on how you look at things. It depends on you and your expectations.  It depends on what you decide to do and what plans you have for the rest of the year.

As for me, I have plans! I intend the make 2012 a year to remember.  Not because of the London Olympics, or the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, but because this is going to be the most productive year. I have a full line of products and they are going on sale thanks to the help and support I am getting from my two new mentors.

My first product is almost ready for launch.  The videos are completed, the sales page is written, the domain is bought and added to my hosting account, all I’m waiting for is approval from Click Bank now.

Second product is nearly there, The videos are done, the bonuses are chosen, Domain is bought and added to hosting account and I’m in the process of writing the sales copy.

Two down, Six more to go.  These are still on the production line, Content is written, power points are finished, just need to do the videos and sales page.

So if we say one product every three months…..Wow! That means I’ve not only got this year sorted, 2013 is also taken care of! How is that for a yearly plan?

One is almost upon us,  and the other, the Persian new  year, which will come in spring.  In a way, I get to enjoy the best of both.

But the major event in my calendar is the start of 2012. There are so many things I’m looking forward to and excited about in 2012.

Not only do  I have hopes, dreams, goals and aspirations, I have solid plans that I have been working on for a while now and real projects that are almost complete.  Well at least two of them are!

Knowing that I have one project  completed, another one more than half way through, and two further projects all lined up, fills me full of energy and enthusiasm.

My first launch will probably be in early 2012.  It’s the first of four products I’ve been working on so watch this space.

It has been my persistence and hard work  that enabled me to achieve certain goals and some success too but one thing I realized during my four years of Internet Marketing learning cure is that hard work will eventually pay off but you must take a breather now and then in order to be able to carry on working  otherwise you risk a total melt down!

Take the human heart for instance, it’s the most important part of our body and it works inexorably throughout our lives.  In an average lifetime, the heart beats over 2.5 billion times-38 million times a day without interruption. Amazing isn’t it?

The heart accomplishes this constant work  by taking frequent and regular rests.  We may not notice it but that’s what it does after every beat, it takes a short rest.

So I’ve taken a lesson from knowing this fact that for every day that I work hard, I take a little break and for every week that I work relentlessly, I have a little time-out. I sure bellieve this is the only way to achieve success.

But rest doesn’t mean doing nothing, it simply means doing something different, something that’s not classed as work, something that feeds the soul and relaxes the muscles.

I personally don’t believe in making new year resolutions but if you have to make one, let it be this; that you will work hard to achieve the success you deserve, but take time to nurture your finer qualities too.

2011 may have been a tough year for some but I’ve had the time of my life. It has been a very productive year and I’ve had to reward myself for some small victories too!

Unlike the previous year, when I had a really discordant time, what with two surgeries, three deaths among friends and family, one really tricky product creation process, plagued with all sorts of problems, an Internet Business that I really worked hard at but wasn’t working all that well and many other little problems and snags I don’t even care to remember!

There were also hoards of hindrances, complications and hurdles I had to tackle to achieve my goal which was to retire early from my nine to five so I can engage fully in my  internet business which Id been building from the grounds up for three years. There were moment of doubt, moments, when I was so stuck, I thought I would never get through!

But even in my darkest hours, I always had hope.  It was that hope that kept me going until I finally made it to the end of the year.  I pushed on relentlessly and fought Murphy’s Law all the way to the end and succeeded. I managed to get my cake and eat it too.

So this year, 2011, has been comparatively easy going and It’s been somewhat enjoyable too. I had achieved my most important goal and that was to free myself from my nine-to-five drudgery! I have been running my own internet business from home and created some new products too.

Remember, “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which one has overcome”.

What kept me going is something that I want to talk about here. Certain kind of belief that holds many people – people who are quite capable and talented – back from reaching goals, realizing dreams, and becoming all that they can become.

The concept of the “Absolute Presupposition” is central to this dialogue. (The term was originally coined by the British philosopher R.G. Collingwood, in a somewhat different context.)

What is an absolute presupposition? For our purposes here, I will define it as a statement that is necessarily, unquestionably and inarguably true. You cannot imagine circumstances under which it can be false. “Two plus two equals four” is a statement of this kind.

So is “If you throw a ball up in the air, it will fall back to Earth.” Absolute presuppositions are statements we must accept as true if our world is to make any sense to us at all.

However, as I will explain in a moment, sometimes we mistakenly believe a statement to be an absolute presupposition…and it turns out that it really isn’t.

What I have discovered is that if you are encountering an unusually tough problem in life – whether it is in business or in your personal life – it is because you are believing something to be an absolute presupposition when it really isn’t one.

You believe something to be necessarily true that isn’t even true at all, never mind necessarily so! Let’s look at some instances:

In the Middle Ages people believed that if you sailed a ship out to the line of the horizon, where the sea and sky met, you would fall off the edge. Why? Because they believed the Earth was flat. They could not possibly imagine that it could be otherwise because they had no knowledge of the laws of gravity and physics – a round Earth was simply inconceivable. “The Earth is flat,” was an absolute presupposition, and every single person who was alive on the face of the earth at that time, believed it to be true. Yet we now know it isn’t true.

Similarly, at one time in history it was thought to be impossible for a human being to run a mile in less than four minutes. People believed this to be true for untold centuries – millions, even billions, of people at one time took it to be an absolute presupposition. Yet it was shown to be untrue when Roger Bannister did it in 1954. I watched the film “Four Minutes” not so long ago.  If you ever get a chance to see it, do so. It is inspiring.

So then beliefs exist in your own life that are similar to the two examples I gave you. These beliefs are what hold you back from your greatest potential.

We set up obstacles and impediments by taking for granted, and by not questioning beliefs that we mistakenly hold as sacrosanct.

By identifying these beliefs, and by examining how we might break free of the restrictions they impose upon us, we begin to make incredible progress in all we want to do.

Dreaming of success doesn’t make you successful, setting goals and fighting to achieve them does. Success is not a given right, it has nothing to do with luck and it’s not an accident.

You can only achieve success if you have the desire to succeed and the desire to realize your dreams. All you need is determination and some hard work.

You see, I started a new blog  on Internet Marketing Success  as a result of a partnership with a couple of well-known British Internet Marketers.  I had high hopes for that blog and was eager to build it up. So, as is human nature, the new blog became my new toy, or new baby and it took up most of my attention. I kind of neglected my other babies including this blog here , I admit, I am guilty of that!

Fortunately, and thanks to the wonder of automation and my guest bloggers, this blog kept going until a few months ago when for a strange reason the automatic posts stopped. 

I only noticed this recently and decided to take control.  So I am now back to set things right! and I’ll be blogging  more regularly from now on. This blog was originally set up as my personal ramblings, where I would document my online journey , talk about what I have learned from my recent experiences with article marketing, product creation and so on.

So Now that I’ve  been busy with my own product creation, I am back to pen my journey through this eventful  expedition and share this turning point in my internet marketing adventures! 

You may not believe it but creating a product of decent quality that provides real value takes time no matter how experienced or learned you are.

And if you know me, you know that I don’t put out hogwash and call it content!  I believe that if I am going to produce any type of product, be it a report, an eBook, a video, or even a simple blog post or an article, I want it to be of the highest quality.   I really and truly believe and live by the saying “Content Is King” or in my case “Queen!”.

 I’ve been spending some time on the Warrier forum, lurking around to find out what’s on offer for the Noobs, and what they are looking for to help them get their internet business on the map and start making money.

What I found is that there are a lot of products out there that, even though they sell very cheaply, quite often they are so simple and unsophisticated that anyone with a tiny knowledge could produce. 

Not saying these products are worthless, just saying some of them are just very simple and brief, like a six page report, or simply a short article about how someone made some money on the worrier forum or on eBay.

I have been researching, studying and working hard to get to where I am now and if there ever was a University degree course on Internet Marketing, then I should by now have my PhD! In fact I would’ve got several PhD’s since a PhD concentrates only on one very specific topic and Internet marketing has many different components or niches if you like.

So, I am going to be creating and releasing a series of products on different aspects of Internet Marketing.  But the first one I am working on at the moment is about  one of the most important skills you need to acquire in order to sell anything online.
